There's no problem with that but it doesn't always work well to consider that we have to change overnight. I prefer to work through different areas in my life and to set specific goals. So let's consider sustainable fashion, what are you goals in this area for 2025?
Outsider was launched in 2009 to offer an alternative, to encourage more meaningful relationships with garments, designed for longevity. The continued growth of the fashion industry is causing more and more damage to the planet. A 2022 report from the Hot or Cool Institute worked out that if fashion wanted to stay below the 1.5C target, then the top 16 countries in the G20 need to just - stop consuming. All the biomaterials, rental, resale, charity shopping, regenerative agriculture in the world is not going to get us there, they say - slowing down our buying habits will.
