We are thrilled to have the lovely Ceri Heathcote wearing Outsider this month. She is the talented writer behind Style Eyes which is one of our favourite ethical fashion blogs.
She has kindly shown us some super sustainable styling by sharing four different looks she has created for our best selling T-shirt dress in black. Each outfit is accessorised ethically too! Perfect inspiration for the party season just around the corner.
Outfit 1. Outfit 2.
Outfit 1. The necklace is from MADE UK, the jeans are from Oxfam and the shoes are Clarks.
Outfit 2. The scarf is from Oxfam and upcycled with pompom trim, the bag from Reclaim Bags (made of rubber from recycled inner tubes) and the ankle boots (vegetable tanned leather) Dream in Green.

Outfit 4. The leather obi belt is handmade and the bag is from a Kickstarter campaign by Junky Styling, boots by Dream in Green
We also took the opportunity to find about a bit more about Ceri and her passion for ethical fashion and writing.
1. How long have you been blogging/writing?
I have been blogging for over 7 years although I only started ethicalfashionblog.com in 2011.
2. What inspired your ethical/eco approach to fashion/style?
It just seemed to make sense. I love fashion, but fast fashion at the expense of people and the planet feels wrong. When I first started blogging about second hand clothes, quite a few years ago, I started to get lots of emails from ethical and eco friendly brands. I realised that it was completely possible to still enjoy fashion but in a way that is kinder to planet and makes a positive difference to the lives of those working in the supply. Actually there are now so many amazing ethical and sustainable fashion brands out there, it wasn't at all difficult to stop buying 'fast fashion' in favour of a slower, more thoughful approach. Since I have started buying from ethical and eco friendly brands, I have also found that I have a much more versatile wardrobe and feel much more comfortable in high quality clothes that have a great cut.
3. What is your top tip for eco-fashionista's?
Shop online! There are a growing number of eco/ethical brands available on the high street, but if you aren't lucky enough to live near such forward thinking retailers, shopping online will open up a massive range of possibilities. When shopping online, it is also easier to really carefully consider your buy, read up a little on the brands ethical credentials or find out some more about their eco performance.
Thanks to Ceri for inspiration!
We hope you'll be inspired to buy a dress for the party season with ethical credentials such as ours.
